這棟曾經破敗不堪的建築，經過細心改造，搖身一變成為現代又舒適的居所。翻修保留了原本的建築特色，同時融入當代設計元素，提升了整體機能與美感。儘管房屋本身的老舊狀況帶來許多挑戰，這個案子仍成功讓空間煥然一新，營造出溫馨宜人的生活氛圍。這是一間兼具歷史韻味與現代便利的住宅，讓人重新體驗舊屋新生的魅力。
This once dilapidated building has been thoughtfully transformed into a modern and comfortable home. The renovation preserves its original architectural character while incorporating contemporary design elements that enhance both functionality and aesthetics. Despite the challenges brought by the house’s age and condition, the project successfully revitalized the space, creating a warm and inviting living environment. The result is a home that balances historical charm with modern convenience, offering a renewed appreciation for the beauty of old houses brought back to life.

狹長型住宅常見的缺點之一是室內光線不足。設計師巧妙地將燈條融入樓梯扶手中，不僅為空間增添溫暖氛圍，也提升了上下樓時的安全性。
A dim interior is a drawback of narrow houses. The designer cleverly incorporated light strips into the stair railings, adding warmth to the space and enhancing safety when going up and down the stairs.
精心挑選與設計的摺疊鏡與雙洗手台，不僅提升了生活便利性，也為空間增添了趣味性。
The specially selected and designed folding mirrors and double basins make life more convenient and add interest to the space.
深綠色的床頭牆搭配金屬壁燈，為這個小角落增添了一絲低調的奢華感。
The dark green bedside wall is decorated with gold metal wall lamps, giving this small corner a sense of luxury.
設計師表示：「這是一棟狹長型的住宅，所以我們利用法式雙開門，營造出一進門就有的開闊感。我們特意降低床頭板的高度，並以壁燈、吊燈、立燈等不同類型的光源層層堆疊空間感，藉此弱化裝飾感，同時也修飾了房屋本身的缺陷。」
The designer said, “This project is a narrow house, so we used French double doors to create a sense of spaciousness upon entering. We intentionally lowered the headboard height and layered the space with various lighting fixtures, such as wall sconces, pendant lights, and floor lamps, to reduce the feeling of decoration and eliminate the defects of the house itself. "
